This is a safe place where we can share our ideas, and thoughts. We want to make sure we do all that we can to make Ariso and Ednin's special day perfect. (-:
This is what we're concentrating on right now... what ideas does everyone have for this.. definetly a night in NYC will work but thats as far as I have thought about it.
In the past month i have been to two bachelorette parties and saw lots of ideas. The first one I went to they went out to dinner, which included the the moms (bride's and groom's), family, younger cousins, tias, etc. It was a nice little celebration and at the restaurant a limo came to pick us up. The limo took us to three bars/lounges in the city and then back home at about 5 in the morning.
Each girl that went paid $80 for both dinner and limo. We had champagne, wine and beer in the limo (all purchased beforehand, in a cooler, some people brought their own, etc.)So we were pretty tipsy even before we got to the lounges.
Everyone had a great time and then we all slept over at the bachelrette's apartment.
Now the next one that I went to included a pole dancing class and a passion party because the bride did not want naked men.
I think that we should definitely get someone to drive us around and a place to stay. That way everyone can have a good time and not have to worry about how to get home, etc. I know we had briefly talked about it the day we went for the dresses and we said that maybe we could get a hotel room in the city and then go clubbing?
Not sure, but we need to start planning so everyone can know how much we have to budget for.
Does she want naked men? I have also heard of the Stripper pole classes. That sounds like fun. I'm going to a bachelorette party in a couple of weeks. We are all meeting at one of the girls house's for dinner and drinks. A limo is picking us up from there to go around the city. Limo is def a must.
Ladies, So me and Viv met up yesterday to kinda brainstorm on ideas for bridal and bachelorettes.. reguarding the bachelorette these are things that Ednin DOES WANT:
Strippers Limo Possibly Going to Atlatic City (which is wack 'cuz there aint much to do there and NYC is sooo much better)
Things that Ed DOESNT want: Passion Parties Pole Dancing Classes (since she recently went to one) even though i thought this is like the best idea but it aint my party lol.
With that.. The limitations on having the men is that there is no real location to have these folks come to.. in addition it will run us a pretty penny to have the Limo and the Private Dancers...
My suggestion is having a night out in the city with the limo and stopping by a strip place and a few other places.
Please give you inputs on this so that we can finalize something by the end of May and start the booking in june.
I will welcome naked men at my place any day! (-: I think limo and night out on the town sounds good. It would be nice to meet somewhere first for like dinner or something.

I def like the Limo idea. I don't like the idea of private strippers so much b/c all the one's I've gone to are ok but not as fun as being at a strip club w/ 20 naked men and making the bride to be go on stage etc. I'm down for whatever but going to one or 2 places and then ending the night at hunkmania or something seems a lot more fun. Maybe even throw a late night 6am mangu before going home to sleep. :)
